Peterborough is a cathedral city and unitary authority area in the East of England. Historically part of Northamptonshire, for ceremonial purposes it now falls within the county of Cambridgeshire. The railway station is an important stop on the East Coast Main Line between London and Edinburgh.
Known for the 12th- and 13th-century Peterborough Cathedral, with its Gothic facade, the population of the city grew rapidly following the arrival of the railways in the 19th century, and Peterborough became an industrial centre, particularly noted for its brick manufacture.

Hey Elizabeth! The resort is beautiful, modern and really clean. With the food there wasn't much variety. Basically the same thing every single night and even the 2 times we did go to the a la carte restaurants we weren't impressed. The chefs really need some more training unfortunately. Another really bad thing was the pool. Tiles are popping off everywhere!! The weather was great however. We only had rain twice and that was over night. The wind was a bit strong but it helped cool us down for the scorching heat. The staff is wonderful as well except for the woman in sports bar who would make bad comments about everybody that walked up to the bar!! She thinks that non-Spanish people don't understand Spanish I guess. I actually made a complaint about her in my review cause I was so disgusted with her behaviour....very unprofessional. All in all it was a good vacation. The resort, beach, weather was beautiful.....the rest are just details that in the end don't really matter.
