Isla Mujeres is a Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, 13 kilometers off the Yucatán Peninsula coast. The island is some 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) long and 650 metres (2,130 ft) wide. To the east is the Caribbean Sea with a strong surf and rocky coast, and to the west the skyline of Cancún can be seen across the clear waters. In the 2010 census, the namesake town on the island had a population of 12,642 inhabitants. The island is part of the Isla Mujeres Municipality in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Once a small fishing village, Isla Mujeres (meaning "Island of Women"), has become a favourite for travellers seeking natural beauty, island serenity and a slower pace of life—all without compromising its cultural traditions. It's a holiday destination known for beaches such as northern Playa Norte, resort hotels and for snorkeling and scuba diving on the surrounding coral reefs.
Thank you to Leona for everything you did for our daughters wedding!
I would like to thank Leona Hannon for her services she provided for my daughter’s wedding in Jamaica in April-2013. Leona went over and above my expectations with her professional attitude and diligent approach in all areas. Leona did in fact treat our group not as a client but like a family member, which made the bride more relaxed, and me the mother of the bride off the hook lol. I would recommend Leona’s services to my family and friends in the near future. Cheers Sandy Russell
