Ryan Snider

After working for eight years with international relief and development organizations in Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia and Mozambique, Ryan began to notice the role of sustainable tourism as a tool for sustainable development. Shortly after, Ryan commenced doctoral studies pertaining to the role of ecotourism as a sustainable livelihood strategy, and began organizing and guiding socially responsible eco-safaris to East Africa. As a result, his Socially Responsible Safaris are designed to generate dialogue, encourage inter-cultural learning, and create economic and environmental benefits for the host population.
